The underlying philosophy of our course is an holistic understanding of our worldly wisdom. A comprehensive understanding of the interactions between our body, mind and emotions in a social field of living is the basically construct of this multidimensional and –causal view of living.
Diseases are seen as a condition of lost balance and insufficient competence of regeneration in an open and holistic living organism. According to Green & Green the principles of psychophysiology say, that every thought creates a reaction in the physical body, what is finally seen and changeable with the methods of biofeedback? Vice versa psychological and emotional sensations are equally affected by changes in the body (e.g. posture of the muscles, breathing or conditions of the heart).
Body functions execute a lot more than a behavioural memory in our live, in this sense function more than an extended executor of our repressed and forgotten experiences in our minds.

Trying to bring this own learned helplessness under control is frequently the starting point of a vicious cycle. Biofeedback can be seen as a narrow track out of this feeling of lost control and impotence. Many therapies are motivated to externally help their patients without giving the organism the chance to find it’s own healing power inside. Biofeedback doesn’t. Self-efficacy is a part of the therapy and not a consequence. To bring self-efficacy to its culmination Biofeedback is a gentle companion on the way to the power of self-healing.

Becoming healthy is more like a way than a designation. This way is not paved solely by mileage, expressed by lost symptoms. Becoming healthy is the more or less burdensome trail of discoveries and insights in the accepted organising of this way of living. And sometimes the destination fits more to inner growth than to intentional expectations. You -  and only you -  are the only one who can decide, where to step and what you expect from your goals. Biofeedback is an instrument helping you to spot yourself on this way. Biofeedback is a guide, not a vehicle.

There are so many diseases known and each of them has various causes – therefore it needs plenty of sensitive intuition and knowledge of the practitioner, to guide a patient on this way. Every information could be important evidence. Participants of our course should be ready to get involved in the most fascinating story on this earth  - the process of growth. This requires awareness and the willingness to get involved in the experiences and histories of our patients.
Practitioners and patients are like a roped party – only together they can climb this trails of healing.

Sharing this approach with us, you will find our course as a good way to make your therapeutic tasks more effective.
